Ontario Cup Series is about to kick off
The Ontario Cup (OCup) Road Series has finally arrived and will kick into high gear on May 14th. For the 2023 OCup Road Series, Ontario Cycling is partnering with Performance Driven Events for three OCups and the Provincial Championships. Riders will be racing on two new courses in Bradford and Lansdowne and be back to race fan-favorite Northumberland again for 2023.

Ontario Cycling Board of Directors call for Nominations to stand for election at the Annual Meeting, June 22, 2023
Positions to be filled:
- 3 Director-at-large positions (2-year terms for each)
- 1 Athlete Representative position (2-year term)
Currently, Ontario Cycling is placing particular emphasis on candidates with the following skills:
- Not for Profit Governance & Strategic Leadership
- Equity, diversity, and inclusion implementation
- Sponsorship / Strategic Partnerships
- Organizational Change Management
- Risk Management
- Public Policy & Policy Development
Candidates with other competencies are also invited to apply.

Britney Hovencamp appointed as new Provincial BMX Development Coach
Ontario Cycling has recently appointed Britney Hovencamp as the new Provincial BMX Development Coach. Britney brings an impressive racing career into her new coaching role with the goal of getting more Ontario riders representing Canada at the highest level.
Ready to Roll: Meet the Athletes that represented Team Ontario at Nationals
Ontario athletes dominated the podium at the U17/U19/Para Canadian Track Championships in Bromont, QC collecting over 60 medals. These results are a testament to the hard work put into preparing for this event, starting in October with the Ontario Track Academy programming launch. A lot of the success can be attributed to the strong club system in the province and the cohesive relationships that have been built between coaches to come together in training and team selection to optimize performance. Congratulations to all the athletes, coaches, and support staff on all this season's success.
Ontario Cycling’s Coaches Conference Emphasizes the Importance of Effective Communication and Language in Coaching
Ontario Cycling recently held a successful coaches conference at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre in Milton, Ontario. The event was attended by Ontario-based coaches, who benefited from four professional presentations delivered by Ontario Cycling’s Sport Scientists, Psychologists, Coaches & High-Performance Athletes. The coach’s conference was an incredible opportunity for coaches to come together and share their experiences and knowledge.

2023 OCup MTB Series is ready to roll
2023 Provincial Championships Track have been a blast
Ontario Cycling hosted an eventful 2023 Provincial Track Championships last weekend. This highly anticipated event drew cyclists from across North America to compete for top honours in various categories. Participants demonstrated incredible speed, strength, and endurance throughout the competition, from exciting sprint races to thrilling bunch events. The Volunteers and Commissaires ensured that all aspects of the event were executed with professionalism and the utmost attention to detail.
