WTW Learning & Make and Take Day!

You asked for this and it's happening! Hip Hip Hooray!

First Grade Teachers, Spelling Inventories, markers, glue sticks, folders, scissors, Ziploc bags and lots of activities!

Please secure your guest teacher NOW (K-5 Curriculum Code) and join me for a terrific day of learning and FUN! We'll start the day with time to collaborate about WTW. What went well last year? What do you need help with? You'll have time to talk with colleagues about your successes and challenges. You'll also have time to score your students' Spelling Inventories and set up your groups. You'll be able to request the student books you need to begin teaching WTW. Data re: your students' Spelling Inventories will be entered into our district data warehouse.

After lunch, we'll make games and activities so that Word Study in your classroom not only grows your spellers, but is also engaging. We'll provide copies of the games, file folders, tag board, markers, glue sticks, Ziploc baggies, colored pencils, glue sticks, etc. Please bring your own scissors. We'll even have a laminating machine, so you'll leave at the end of the day with great new resources that will be ready for use the next day.

If there are additional materials that you'd like us to provide, please email me ASAP.

Finally, please bring along receipts for WTW materials that you have purchased out of pocket. This might include tubs for holding games, or any of the above resources that are listed for the make and take. You'll attach your receipts to a form provided on this day. You will then receive up to a $25.00 reimbursement for your expenses. Receipts must be dated after July 1st, 2016.
