Hello Glennwood Families,
It has been a great first week back! Overall, things have run very smoothly. Everything always takes a little bit longer at first but we will work the kinks out. Next week, we will all settle into our routines and it will likely feel easier!
Georgia has new math standards this year. The Department of Education created a parent letter to families with more information on the standards for each grade level. If you would like to review these, please check HERE.
Wow! Glennwood is in 1st place for completing the annual update! Thank you to everyone who has completed this. We just need a few more completed, and we will be at 100%. Please see the directions below from CSD:
The Annual Data Update for returning CSD families is open! The ADU is how families verify or update critical communication and health information, and do sign-offs for the handbook and code of conduct. Please visit https://www.csdecatur.net/adufor more information, or log in directly to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Help make OUR school the first to reach 100% completion! If you need assistance accessing the Parent Portal, click Login Helpat https://www.csdecatur.net/aduor contact our school manager Michelle Reynolds at mreynolds@csdecatur.net.
Warmest regards,
Principal

PTA Memberships
Why should I join the PTA? Your PTA membership provides valuable benefits to your child, your school, and your community. When you become a member of PTA, you increase our collective strength. By adding your name as a member, you will increase the impact we have representing our school and PTA. Today's parents are busier than ever. We know everyone can't volunteer during school hours or at school events. By becoming a PTA member you are expressing your concern for our children. By joining the PTA, you are getting involved by showing your support and you let your child know you care about education and about Glennwood.
Join us today by visiting our website here!
