October 2022
Candler Elementary Information
We are getting super excited for our first Cow Patty Bingo on Saturday, October 22 from 4:00-7:00pm. Aside from waiting on the cow to make its deposit on the lucky squares, there will be ten rounds of $1 Bingo games in the cafeteria where you can win prizes, as well as baby cows that you can feed a bottle for $1! Food trucks and music will also be part of this fun event.
During the month of October we will be helping to raise money for Eblen Charities by having dress up days for $1 every Friday. This year our Friday themes will include, "Dress to Impress, Our Future is Bright, Farmer or Cow, and Book Character" dress-up days.
Finally, we are excited to share that we have gotten approval for parents to begin eating lunch with students again! Please call the school if you plan to join your child for lunch so you can get their exact lunch time. You will need to sign in and get a visitor badge in the office. We will have an area in the cafeteria for you to eat with your child. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be purchasing lunch for $4.75 so that our cafeteria ladies can make sure they prepare enough food for everyone!
