The Front Office Staff Would Like to Say:
Jeena Templeton, Principal
Before my life in education, I was a music theatre major at NYU -- who played Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Eponine in Les Miserables, and Cinderella in Cinderella, to name some favorites, and on my free time, I still sing with the Grand Junction Rockestra-- a 30 piece symphonic orchestra, that plays classic and contemporary rock music. I love to run and dance and write and whitewater raft and read and cook and learn-- so much so that I am pursuing my doctorate at the University of Denver -- but at the end of the day, my most important titles are “Wife” and “Mom.” As such, one of my goals this year is to encourage and model balance with the dedicated and determined people I work with. I have set as an expectation that all of us avoid our emails and voicemails starting at 6:30 every evening and throughout the weekend. I hope you will understand that we are making time for our families and will respond to your concerns and questions the following business day.
I feel truly lucky to work with and learn from the truly exceptional staff at Manning, and we cannot wait to get to know you and your kids. All of us are committed to upholding Manning’s rich traditions of high expectations, rigorous college-preparatory academics and strong school-to-family partnerships, all in an effort to provide a school experience worthy of our students and community. If you have any questions. concerns, ideas, or just want to say hello, please don’t hesitate to call (303)982.6288, email (Jeena.Templeton@jeffco.k12.co.us) or just drop in. I welcome the conversation!
Thank you for sharing your kids with us; it is our honor to serve them.

David Luongo, Assistant Principal
I studied mathematics and played baseball at Johns Hopkins University. When I graduated from college, I joined a cycling team who raised money for the American Cancer Society and biked across America from Baltimore to San Francisco. It was my first time visiting Colorado, and the Rocky Mountains convinced me to move out here as soon as I could, so I did! When I'm not working, I enjoy spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors hiking 14ers, camping, trail running, snowboarding, or skiing.

I was born in Ohio, raised in Texas and finally moved out to Colorado three years ago. I graduated with my Bachelors from Texas A&M and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in School Counseling from Denver Seminary. I currently volunteer with Littleton Young Life for middle school students and try to be in the mountains as much as possible. This is my first year at Manning and I am so incredibly excited and thankful to be here.
