GJH competes at Jr. VASE
Gainesville Junior High art students competed at the Junior VASE (Visual Arts Scholastic Event. Junior VASE is a regional event hosted by Texas Art Educators.At the competition, they participated in an interview and critique about their artwork in front of a juror. Ten GJH students competed in the contest and three earned medals and all earned high ratings, with 4 being the highest.

Students of the Month
The April Students of the Month received the Leopard Pride award at the Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, April 15. The students were nominated by their teachers for their leadership, compassion for others, making good choices, and for setting a good example for their classmates.
