This is an online event.

Teach your students coding and programming basics

Educators can sign up to host an hour of code event at your school by visiting hourofcode.com

What Most Schools Don't Teach

Computing skills are the future!

The lessons provided on the Hour of Code website are complete with tutorials and easy to follow directions so anyone can lead a "coding session" regardless of prior coding experience.

Even if you are unable to participate in the Hour of Code next week, reserve the lab and try an activity with your students at some point in the year, or simply allow for more opportunities that students can create using technology.

Programming and coding skills directly align with the 21st Century Skills our students need to be successful: critical thinking, problem-solving, technology and innovation skills.

AND if you host an event at your school, you can enter to win 10,000 for technology devices for your school and other cool prizes. SIgn up now hourofcode.org
