Sophomore Parent Night - Thursday, January 19th at 6:00pm in the HVJ auditorium!
HVJ Warrior Council hosts International Night on Friday, January 20th 4-6p.m.
Attend Jenkin’s first-ever International Night held by Student Council. Have the chance to try and enjoy all types of delicacies from more than 19 different countries. It will take place in the cafeteria this Friday, January 20. Students are welcome to sign up as a vendor and represent any country they want. Tickets for non-vendors will be available during the first, third, & fourth lunches. Students are also able to buy them after school in rm 1310 with Dr. Kamkowski. The price of the ticket will be $2.00 per student at Jenkins and $4.00 per family member that the students would like to invite. Work Based Learning Announcement
Now taking applications for Work-Based Learning which includes Gulfstream positions for next school year
- Must be classified as a junior or senior next school year
- Complete and submit an application and resume
- Must have good attendance and discipline, three positive teacher recommendations
- Must be able to complete a pathway by graduation
- Possibility of working at Gulfstream
- Must be employed by July
The earlier you complete your application the better your chances are of getting into the program and positions at Gulfstream

Savannah State University hosts Mathematics Seminar at Jenkins High School - sign up link below!
For all students that have a love for Mathematics, then this presentation may be for you! On Friday, January 20, 2023, in Room 2322-Savannah State University will be hosting a Mathematics Seminar. This presentation will go over all of the math majors at Savannah State University and job opportunities that are available in the field. If your student is interested, please have them complete the link below no later than Thursday, January 19. They will then receive a pass to attend.
