PUSD Summer School 2017
Students who are eligible for summer school will receive information when we return from spring break. If you do not receive notice that you are enrolled in summer school by the end of April, please contact your counselor.
Senior Information
Submitting Your Intent to Register
May 1st is the last day to submit your Intent to Register for the college you plan on attending in the fall. If you fail to complete this step or any of the steps listed in your acceptance materials from the school, it may result in your acceptance being rescinded. Intent to Enroll is not complete until deposits are paid, official documents are sent in, Housing Licensing Agreement submitted, etc. Please ensure that you have completed all tasks by checking your email and online portals for each school you have been accepted to.
Graduation Soloist Auditions
Graduating seniors may audition with an appropriate graduation song (inspirational, heartfelt goodbye, etc.). Auditions are Friday, April 28 from 3:30-5pm in the choir room (M115). Go to: www.westviewchoir.com/auditionswww.westviewchoir.com/auditions for more information.
Scholarship Information
MTS/Coca Cola
Deadline: April 14th. Applicants must be current high school students who reside in San Diego county.
PFLAG Scholarship
Deadline: April 14th. Applicants must be a graduating senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
California Legislative Black Caucus (CLBC) Scholarship
Deadline: June 9. Requirements: 2.5 GPA or higher, acceptance to an accredited higher education, copy of transcript, letter of recommendation, and essay.

African American Leaders for Tomorrow (AALT)
Deadline: May 15;
4-day summer program at CSU Dominquez Hills, leadership training
Requirements: Sophomore or Junior with a 2.5 GPA or higher, demonstration of leadership potential, two letters of recommendation, essay, and transcript

Event Information
PTSA Career Connection Event
Screening of the film Dream, Girl showcasing the stories of inspiring and ambitious female entrepreneurs. The 60 minute documentary will be followed by a dynamic panel of top San Diego women executives who will share their experiences building and running successful businesses and the impact entrepreneurial women have on our society, both economically and culturally. This event is free and open to all PUSD high school students. Come bring a friend, parent, or sibling!
