Dig: Campus Garden Coalition
UCLA's student run gardening group
Thank you for your interest in Dig!
Our mission to bring students and the Los Angeles community closer to where their food is grown as well as provide hands on experience in an organic urban garden. Learn more about the cultivation of food, expansion of gardens on campus, creating and maintaining a sustainable compost system, becoming an activist for food justice, and reaping the benefits of our amazing California soil and sun!
Get started by joining us at our first dig-in this Sunday, October 2nd, at 12:30 PM at the garden in Sunset Recreation Center, or by liking our Facebook page.
Hands on learning
Learn gardening skills side by side with your peers, UCLA professors, and LA community members through experience in our garden.
Prepared to get DIRTY!
Every week you can join us out our "Dig-ins" work days or volunteer to water when it fits in your schedule! Be sure to keep an eye out for fun quarterly events in the garden, too!
The perks
Free harvest! We believe members "earn what they put in", whereas, members who help by watering or weeding will be paid in sweet produce grown by YOU.
