Dancers Who Are Set Apart... in LIFE!
MKS dancers experience dance in a faith-based environment, where we desire to foster a love of movement that can be used to fulfill the Great Commission.
That being said, it is also important for us to be equipping our students with life skills that will serve them wherever God leads them in life. Of course, we hope dance is a part of their life, as it is healthy and fun, in some capacity throughout childhood and into adulthood (even if it just means crashing wedding receptions... ;))
Dance at MKS helps students learn to:
- work hard
- set goals for themselves
- be confident in front of others
- aim for progress, not perfection
- use their gifts and talents for a greater purpose
- connect with others in a meaningful, encouraging, supportive way
and much more! And it is our prayer that all of these positives will serve them well in their future!
