Athletes of the Month - January
Cameron Brewster -Junior, Varsity Swim and Dive
A 3-year Varsity swimmer, Cam is the top point scorer for the combined Clawson-Lamphere swim team this year. He has two county cuts in the 200 Freestyle and the 500 Freestyle. He is also one of the creators of this year’s Childhood Cancer Awareness meet which will take place on February 3 at 6pm with all proceeds donated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Renata Carlesimo - Senior, Varsity Basketball
A 4-year varsity starter for the Trojans, Renata led the varsity team to a 6-1 record during the month of January. In three of those victories, Renata notched double digit points with a game high 16 against Warren Woods Tower. Her relentless effort on the defensive side of the ball has helped the Trojans outrebound its opponents in all six victories in January.
Clawson HS/Lamphere HS Swim Team Charity Meet
Lacrosse - Co-op with Bishop Foley
Our Boys Lacrosse Co-op Team will begin Pre-Season Weight Room Workouts starting this Tuesday, January 25th from 5:30-7pm in the Bishop Foley weight room and every Tuesday and Thursday before the season officially starts on Monday, March 14th. All practices and home games will be at Bishop Foley. There will be a Parent Meeting on February 3rd at 7:00pm in the Bishop Foley Cafetaria for returning and new parents.
Football - 2022 Fall Season
Our Varsity Football Coach, Steve Haney will be holding a
Trojan Football 2022 Zoom Meeting on
February 2nd at 8:00 pm for student-athletes in 8th-11th grades interested in playing high school football this coming August.

There will be an informational meeting on Friday, Feb 4 at 2:45pm in the Middle School Media Center for all students in grades 6, 7 and 8 who are interested in joining our Wrestling team. Practice begins on Monday Feb 7 - all student-athletes must have a current sports physical on file in the office in order to participate.
Spring Sports - Middle School
Make sure you have a current physical on file and you create a planeths account (details below)! Winter Sports offered at CMS include:
- Track and Field- open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders
- Softball - open to 7th and 8th graders only
- Baseball - open to 7th and 8th graders only
Note: Students must be signed in to their school email in order to complete the Interest Survey!
All student-athletes in High School and Middle School must have the following in order to participate in athletics at CHS and CMS:
- Current Physical (dated on or after April 15, 2021)
- PlanetHS.com account (click here for video on how to do this)
- Athlete Code of Conduct (on PlanetHS.com)
- Pay to Participate
