Viking Spotlight This Week: Solar Sprint Team 🌞🏎

I want to give a shout out to our MVA Solar Sprint team. This past Saturday, we had two teams compete in SUHSD's Solar Sprint Competition. Although Mother Nature had other plans, the little time she did show the sun, we were about to utilize the solar cars! It's amazing to see how talented and creative our Vikings are!! A special thank you to Mrs. Trejo for being the advisor and helping our students get to this point! Great job, Vikings! πŸ’› We are so proud of you!!

Message from the Principal πŸ’›

Well, Vikings, you did it...you made it to the last week of the 2022-2023 school year!! It's Finals Week which means it's time to show us everything you have learned this semester by trying your very best on your finals exams. Be sure to get a good night's sleep each night and eat a healthy breakfast in the mornings so your brain is ready to go!! Good luck on all of your finals! You got this, Vikings!

Summer School starts next Monday, June 5th. If you were contacted by your math teacher or a counselor to take summer school courses, please be sure to rsvp asap. Students in the 7th grade who earned a D or F in English, Social Science, or Science, will have the opportunity to make that up by attending Summer School. Any questions? Contact your counselor.

To the 8th graders, it has been my pleasure serving as your principal this year. I wish you the best as you start your high school journey. Remember to make good choices, but also take responsibility for your actions when you don't make good choices. Be sure to say hi when I see you at the high school events next year! 😊 To the 7th graders, you made it through your first year of middle school!! I'm looking forward to seeing the growth that you do as an 8th grader next year!! 😊 Wishing all of my Vikings a safe and enjoyable summer!!
