Next Week in Second Step:
When you have a strong feeling, it’s hard for your brain to think. After you use your stop signal and name your feeling, you’re ready to calm down! You can calm down by doing some slow deep belly breathing, counting, or using positive self-talk. Think for a moment about your favorite Way to Calm Down. Remember to use it this week if you need to. Calming down helps you think clearly!
Running out of Coats and Sweaters at Your House?
If you are running out of coats and sweaters at your house, maybe it's time to come to "our house" to look for your missing items. We have managed to collect lots of really cute coats, hoodies, and sweaters that are just hoping to be found by their owners.
Please remind your children to look through it to claim any lost items. Parents, feel free to come check it out as well. You can come before or after school and during your child's lunchtime. Please remember to sign in at the front office first.
All unclaimed clothing items will be donated after school on December 16th. Any left over water bottles and lunch boxes will have to be thrown out.
