We enjoyed our kick-off of the new year with the opportunity to meet with each of our students during our Mid-Year Assessment Day. We are incredibly proud of how much students have grown and are so excited to support them in setting goals and action plans for the second half of the school year. It is joyful to hear them read, to see their development as a writers and mathematicians. As we focus on our trait of "Dreams to Achieve" this month, it has been incredible to hear about both their academic and personal goals for the new year- writing their own novels, mastering multiplication and becoming a great gymnast- we have incredible students! We look forward to time together to share these incredible goals during our February Parent-Teacher Conferences. Please see the link below (PHE Webpage) to review your scheduled time.
Winter weather is finally here. Please remind your child to be prepared for time outdoors (as temperature and precipitation permit). Please be sure they have appropriate layers for indoor and outdoor comfort, including a coat, hat and gloves. As students are often utilizing not only the playground, but the field area throughout the day, having waterproof boots is ideal. It is also helpful to have all items labeled with your child's name. If your child is missing an item, lost and found is located between the gym and music room. On their way to specials is a great time to check for any of these items.
We hope you've enjoyed a great start to the New Year,
