Quarter 1 Progress Reports
Athletics
Our fall sports are going strong. There are 2 places that you can look to follow our teams. One is our Athletics Calendar and the other is Max Preps. Great job to all the athletes so far this year, you are all working very hard to represent WRHS and make us proud. Tickets for all athletic events are purchased through GoFan.
WRHS and 7-11
Parents we need your help!
WRHS is a closed campus. We are seeing an increase of students leaving campus without permission to go to the 7-11. Again, the WRHS is not an open campus, even at lunch time. Students found off campus without permission will receive a referral and progressive consequences will be given. Please talk to your children about remaining on campus when they are supposed to be here. In addition, despite many announcements, parents phone calls and emails, students continue to cross in front of traffic in the mornings and afternoons to reach the 7-11. All students should be using the crosswalk provided at all times. This is for your child's safety.
The 7-11 management team has provided us with some concerning information regarding student behavior while in the 7-11 store after school hours. They are asking that students not congregate inside the store, they should not enter the store unless they are purchasing something, all bookbags will need to be left by the door upon entering the store, and finally; parents should not be using the 7-11 parking lot as a pick up or drop off area unless they are a customer of 7-11 at that time.
Morning Announcements
The Stampede is beginning to update their website for the new school year. The morning announcements are now available on their website for the news school year. If you or a student misses them in the morning, check their website which is updated daily.
