Gather your old clothes during Thanksgiving break (the week before) and bring them back to school to donate to those in need! There are no restrictions; any clothes any size.

Janelle Hallet of Ohio Alliance for Arts Education will be with us December 1st AT 7:00PM to speak with us about Arts Advocacy. If any Committee members plan on being back earlier, Andrea would really appreciate your help with setup. Thank you!

Service
Gather your old clothes during Thanksgiving Break and bring them back to donate! Get the word out to friends and faculty who may like to donate as well!

**ATTENTION INTERNS, PRIVATE LESSON TEACHERS, ENSEMBLE PARTICIPANTS, ETC.: Shoot Dominic or Peter an e-mail!! They can get you additional apparel order forms to pass out at your internships, to your private students, or to any additional ensembles or groups you participate in that might be interested in some Conservatory apparel! This money will go towards Convention, so we need all the outside sales we can get! These can also make great Christmas gifts! :) **

Dr. Richard Edwards
Education
M.M., University of North Carolina at Greensboro
B.M., Ohio University
Current Position:
Coordinator of Music Education at Ohio Wesleyan University
Dr. Edward's specializes on music and the brain; the neuroscience and philosophy of music education. Dr. Edwards is the creator of the Musical Brain Imaging Research Database (MusicBIRD), an ongoing project containing all peer-reviewed brain-imaging studies involving human musical processes. He maintains an active schedule as a band conductor, a student teacher supervisor, and a guest lecturer discussing the neuromusical research implications of how humans learn to be musical. Dr. Edwards lives in Delaware with his wife Tammie, sons Chase and Max, and a precocious cat named Maggie.

Public school Music Teacher (6 years) in Ohio and North Carolina
*taught music in many different areas and ages, including concert band, marching band, jazz band, music theory, and elementary general music.
