FARM DAY AT SOLEDAD HIGH SCHOOL
Soledad High School hosted Farm Day on February 24. Elementary students visited Soledad High School and observes high school Ag students doing demonstrations including welding and planting seedlings and heard presentations on farm animals.

Soledad High School is going through the accreditation process this year. A hard working SHS team has completed the self-study and is planning for a visit by a team from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, March 13-16.
SOLEDAD HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' SOCCER TEAM
The Soledad High School Girls Soccer Team had an amazing season. The team won the Pacific Coast Athletic League Championship and played in the Central Coast Section Playoffs. While the team did not prevail in the CCS playoff game, we celebrate our team for being the champions they are.

Main Street Middle School
"We, at Main Street Middle School, are proud to recognize Mustafa as the Student of the Month for February. Mustafa was nominated multiple times by teachers and each they they used the word "exceptional" to describe him. Mustafa is not only an above 4.0 GPA student, but he also loves being at school. He is one of those students who walks around with a constant smile, has a good set of friends and demonstrates a thorough enjoyment of the school experience. As an English learner born outside of the country, he now dominates the English language with ease. Congratulations!"

" The student of the month for Soledad High school is Marisol. Marisol is an amazing academic student. On top of being an amazing academic student she is in many clubs on campus and is a 2 sport athlete. Her dream is to go to UC Davis and return to Soledad to teach, I will let Marisol come up and tell you a little bit more about her dreams."
Community Education Center - Playgroups
Isela Andalon and her son Matias was selected as the student/family of the month, for The Family Literacy Program. Isela and her son Matias have shown so much growth in the program while enjoying the simple pleasure of reading and playing. She is a great example of having the desire of learning and improving her parenting skills to better support her son’s development.
READ ACROSS AMERICA
March 2 was Read Across America Day. Soledad USD celebrated this day by inviting district and community members to read to students.
NATIONAL SCHOOL BREAKFAST WEEK
We thank and recognize the Soledad Unified School District Food Service Team for providing delicious and nutritious breakfasts every single school day of the year to our students as we celebrate National School Breakfast Week, March 7-11, 2022.
MAINTENANCE APPRECIATION DAY
Friday March 4 is Maintenance Appreciation Day. We thank and recogize the efforts of our Maintenance Team Members in keeping our facilities health and clean for our students and employees.
