- A MESSAGE FROM DR. SWANK -
Dear Pine Road Families,
October 31st is only a week away! Click HERE for information regarding our annual Fall Parade! Please keep in mind that for the safety of our students our campus will be closed to motor vehicles after our regular student arrival is complete. Please carpool (if possible) and plan to park on Pine Road.
We hope that you will be able to join us for American Education Week. This is a unique opportunity for you to spend some time in your child's classroom. Guests will need their clearances in order to visit. More information about American Education Week can be found by clicking HERE.
Sincerely,
Brian J. Swank, Ed.D.

Service Learning Projects
Why cook on this crazy night when you can order hoagies AND support the Pine Road Nature Trail?
The October Pine Road Service Learning Project is “making a difference” by donating Halloween candy to troops overseas and their families. The Philadelphia USO is glad to accept our candy donations for distribution.
We are excited to be joining TREX for the Plastic Film Recycling Program. Don’t miss this opportunity to rid your house of plastic shopping bags. Collection boxes are located in the lobby and halls of Pine Road School.
News from the cafeteria
Breakfast and Lunch menus are posted on a new interactive website, Nutrislice. Our innovative and interactive site and mobile app make our school menus more convenient and informative than ever before! Download the Nutrislice App from the App Store or get it on Google Play and then search Lower Moreland.
Food sold during the school day is required to meet nutrition standards that are referred to as Smart Snacks. Smart Snacks encourage students to make healthier snack choices to help give them the nutrition they need to grow and learn. Check out the 2019-2020 price list for the list of snacks we served in the cafeteria.
The cafeteria started selling Protein Packs and Munchables for lunch. Protein packs are a healthy and flavorful snack that are packed with protein and perfect for on the go! Munchables are a balanced grab and go lunch that includes a treat like the whole grain goldfish.
