Forces
A push or pull in any particular direction!!!
Contact and Non-Contact
A Contact Force:
Where two or more objects came into contact with each other, changing their direction.
A Non-Contact Force:
This is when the motion or shape of an object changes without touching another object.
Examples (sitting in a chair)
• There is a pull of gravity, and the chair is pushing us upwards away from earth's gravity.
• The two forces that are acting on us are balanced. They cancel each other out which means there is no overall force on us when sitting in a chair unless the forces are unbalanced ( the body being to heavy for the chair pulling us faster and harder because of weight).
OTHER FORCES!!!!!
GRAVITY!!!!!
Gravity (The Earths pull)
The force of an object to attract other objects towards it. The bigger the object is, the greater the gravity.
