Becoming Independent Writers in First Grade
So he created a more accountable check list by having students color code the parts of their writing. By providing scaffolding for students, they are able to reflect on their own writing and effectively edit their own work.
Math Matters
If you are struggling to meet this goal, check in with your K and 4th grade colleagues!
And reminder that ST Math is to SUPPORT differentiation in your classroom and teachers should be pulling groups when they are using ST Math.

There are lots of ways to explore this concept with your students.

Safety Reminders!
2) Walk your students all the way to the bus, the cafeteria or the yard. Do not allow students to walk on their own, this creates disruption in the hall and leads to running/unsafe behavior.
