Business Advisory Council and Budget News
On Wednesday we began to learn some information regarding changes to the Governor's Budget proposed by the Ohio House. The news on state funding is not going to be good for Eastwood. Because of declining enrollment over the last 5-6 years, we are going to see a serious decline in state funding. If the budget bill were to pass today, our cut would be just under $300,000. That would carry through for the next four years totaling $1.2 million in our 5 Year Forecast. The issue is that Columbus has less money on hand to fund the state budget. While the economy seems to be making progress, Ohio’s tax revenues have fallen off.
There is some uncertainty about several other provisions of the budget bill. These could also impact us negatively. We need some additional time to try and decipher some of the impacts. As a result we are going to postpone the Business Advisory Council Meeting to Monday June 5th.
A YOUNG FAMILY IN NEED
There is a great deal of information about a golf outing on the Saturday before Father's Day in the Facebook post below. They also have a gofundme account set up. You should be able to see everything there. Please also check out the Ralphie's flyer as well.

That's It for this week!
We have Prom this weekend, so we encourage parents to have a talk with their kids about making great choices on Prom night. Thanks to all of the parents who have worked so hard to provide a safe After Prom for our kids.
Best wishes!
