Happy New Year!

We hope all our families had a relaxing Christmas and we are looking forward to another exciting term ahead.

Covid Cases Escalating

Obviously, Covid cases are escalating locally. Please continue to help us by maintaining good control measures and remaining vigilant for signs of infection in your children. One prevalent symptom in local cases recently has been a severe headache.

Music Lessons

We have had some enquiries about music lessons within school time. These can be arranged between yourself and NYCC Music Service. If this is something you are interested in then here is a ink to their website.

New PSHE Scheme.

We are excited about starting a new PSHE scheme this term – Jigsaw. This was introduced to children this week. Some activities involve a cat: Jerrie. If your child talks about a cat in school please don’t worry, we don’t have a new pet! It is a cuddly toy that sits in each classroom.

Match Funding

Does your business provide any match-funding opportunities for its employees? If so, we would welcome an application on behalf of our school. The PTA continue to raise money to support the things that we do, and if we are able to obtain any additional funding from businesses this would be really welcomed. If you need any further information for an application please do not hesitate to contact a member of the PTA or the school office.
