Your PTA presents the “Un-Fundraiser”

We are looking forward to a fun year with events that will build our community and make this a valuable and memorable year for everyone. But in order to provide our students with these wonderful events, we need your help. That is where the “Un-Fundraiser” comes in!

What is a Un-Fundraiser?

Simply put, it’s a fundraiser where kids (or you!) don’t have to sell anything, parents don’t have to buy anything and 100% of your donation goes directly to the PTA. Which then goes back to the kids with events that you all can enjoy together.

To participate, it is as simple as writing a check or going online to make a donation. Any amount is appreciated and will be used strictly for school events that you all can enjoy.

Michigan VS Michigan State Walk-A-Thon

Dear Parents and/or Guardians,

We are pleased to announce the fifth annual Cooper Leadership Walk-a-Thon! This year’s theme revolves around the big interstate rivalry and donations will be collected in support of these two teams; however, 100% of the funds raised will stay with Cooper. The money raised will support our leadership activities such as Career Day, assemblies, updated DVDs, books for students, and other activities and events associated with the Leader in Me initiative.

Please support your student leader in collecting pledges/donations for the walk. We are asking for a minimum donation of $20.00 per student to help us reach our goal of $10,000. That’s just asking 20 people for $1, or four people for $5 or two people for $10. Students will earn one raffle ticket for every $5 they raise. They chose which prize raffle(s) they want to enter. Prizes include a Kindle Fire tablet, a Dell chromebook computer, Amazon or Target gift cards, Phoenix Theater movie tickets, passes to the Livonia Rec Center and Airtime, or a pick from the cash box. The more donations they get, the more chances they have at winning a prize.

The walk will take place from 2-2:45 pm on Friday, October 19, the day before the “big game”. Prize winners will be drawn and announced at the end of the walk. We are looking forward to this healthy, fun, synergistic activity to show school spirit and raise money to help our students.
