AMCMS Principal's Office
What is going on in the Principal's Office?
My Challenge to You
I hope that each of you had an enjoyable and restful Thanksgiving break. I really tried to take a step back and take a break myself because I know just how important it is to be able to disconnect, rest, and reflect.
When students return to your classroom tomorrow be sure to take a couple of minutes at the start of class and remind them of the expectations for your classroom. Please remember that many students have been up late and sleeping in for the last five days or so. We also have students that may have gone five days without much food or stability since they left AMCMS on Tuesday. Be patient and remind students of what is expected so that everyone is able to get back into the routine.
I look forward to seeing the awesome teaching and learning over the next 17 days leading up to the Christmas Break. Starting tomorrow we will only have 13 days of instruction before we are set to begin finals. How will you use your time between now and then?
Think. Achieve. Succeed.
Jeff

The Finals Are Coming!
The Finals Are Coming!

Wellness Tip of the Week
Turn up the tunes!
Anxious? Listen to your favorite music, whether it's Jingle Bell Rock or the latest from Jay-Z. Research from the University of Maryland shows that hearing music you love can relax blood vessels and increase blood flow. That not only calms you down but is good for your heart, too.
