Eagle Nation,
We had another great week at PHS! We are quickly approaching the final chapter of our year and it is exciting to get to the ending. Before we close the pages on 2021-2022, we have a few more things to share about our amazing kids!
State and National Awards
Congratulations to our ENN (Eagle Nation News) Broadcast team for winning the Broadcast Silver Star Award at the UIL Interscholastic League Press Conference (ILPC)!
Congratulations are in order for our UIL Journalism Team (Gabriella Winans and Amanda Hare) for placing 2nd at the State competition. ENO (Eagle Nation Online) also won an Online News Silver Star Award!
Congratulations to Grace Esquibel for being selected as the 2022 Texas Video Producer of the Year—the very first time a PHS student has won this outstanding accolade!
Our ENO kids also received two TOPS in Texas gold medals! To earn a Tops in Texas, first you have to earn first place in your division. Then, the judges look at the first-place winners in all divisions 1A-6A to choose the best academic/journalistic work.

The mission of the Prosper Career Independent Study (PCIS) program is to provide advanced academic students an opportunity to conduct a self-directed, in-depth study of a topic of their choice while gaining real-world experience under the tutelage of a mentor in the community. The program provides an environment that allows PCIS students to explore future career interests, to develop a professional product, and to serve their community.

Graduation Celebration
We have an opportunity for you to support a very special PISD event coming up this May: Prosper ISD’s Graduation Celebration! Some of you may be familiar with this event and many of you will remember Project Graduation! This is an end-of-school event that focuses on a safe and SUPER fun overnight party for all PISD 2022 graduates while educating them on the dangers of drugs and alcohol. It’s also a unique opportunity for all seniors from BOTH campuses to celebrate together before they head off to the next phase of life.
If you work for or own a business that would like to support this event as a sponsor please see this information. This event is completely self-supporting as no funds come from the school district budget. It is only through the generosity of parents, townspeople, and sponsorship from local businesses and organizations that we are able to host this Celebration. All monetary donations will be used to provide entertainment, food, and door prizes (computers, dorm fridges, tablets, etc.) for our seniors to help them enter the next phase of their lives.
Attached you will find additional sponsorship and information. Individual donations are appreciated as well! Thank you in advance for making this year’s celebration the best yet!
WE ARE PROSPER!

Hope Squad/Be Kind Shirts for Sale
Our Hope Squads will sell "Be Kind" yellow T-Shirts as a symbol to simply be kind to one another, which is why you often see "yellow" shirts scattered throughout our district on Wednesdays each week. This stems from supporting our cause of suicide awareness and prevention.
To purchase a shirt, log in to My School Bucks, Go To School Store, Look for Hope Squad T-shirt, Select T-Shirt option (See options below) Student Name. Homeroom = 1st Period Classroom
Orders will be placed at the end of each month with delivery to campuses the following month. 1st Period teachers will hand them to students when they arrive.
PISD will continue to light up the new Children's Health Stadium every Wednesday evening as a simple reminder for our community to show kindness and compassion to one another. If you find yourself driving around Prosper on Wednesday evenings, drive by the stadium to enjoy PISD's symbol for kindness.
Please see the campus calendar for a complete list of student activities.
Submit anonymous tip to Prosper ISD
Tip411 is a new tool to enhance student safety. It is an internet-based communication system that gives students or any concerned citizen a means to quickly and anonymously report threats, potential self-harm, concerns, suspicious or criminal behavior at school or beyond school hours regarding PISD schools, students and/or staff.
When you submit a tip, it is sent to a 3rd party tip service acting as a privacy buffer between you and the Prosper ISD Police Department to preserve your identity and contact information. If you have a tip for the Prosper ISD Police Department please use any of the options on this page to provide important information on crimes or criminals that will help us to keep Prosper ISD safe for everyone.
Tip submissions may not be received until the following day. In case of emergency dial 911.
After Hours Reporting for Potential Threat to Self
What happens if a staff member or student learns that a student might be suicidal after school hours, on the weekend, or during a holiday?
If immediate help is needed, call 911.
Students should make a report to tip411. After the report has been made, they should follow up with the Hope Squad Advisor (if the student is in Hope Squad).
Staff should also make a report to tip411. Once a report has been made, staff should notify the campus principal letting them know that a report has been made.
Option 1
Download the Prosper ISD App. Click on Tip411. Enter tip. You will receive a message back through the app once the message is received.
