Choose from Explora High School, Middle School, or Elementary to insure articles are on appropriate topic and lexile levels for your students. Consumer Health Complete is a fantastic resource containing up-to-date articles and information about disease, health, and medicine. Academic Search Elite is the database most used by colleges and universities for academic research and, like Explora, will allow users to narrow searches to include peer reviewed articles as well as build a customized folder with bookmarking, citation, and share options.
With this school subscription you have access to thousands of streamed videos on just about every topic imaginable. Search by grade level and topic to find video segments or full-length features to support your curriculum. If you need the school login so that you can reset your password (if you've forgotten it) please just email Nicole for that information.

Don't forget about this amazing resource as you plan your lessons, bulletin boards, and activities for this school year.
Need a book for a lesson and can't find it in our library collection? PLEASE let us know by filling out a book request form. This link can always be found on the homepage of the library website. Also don't forget to check dbrl.org to see if the public library might have the title you need. The DBRL Bookmobile visits Harrisburg twice per month on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. They park in the Lion's Club parking lot from 1:00pm-7:00pm on those days and will bring requested books out with them if you call in advance.
Collaboration between the library and the classroom is incredibly important to us. Jennie is available Tuesday-Thursday mornings to collaborate, lesson plan, team teach, provide tech support during a lesson, provide instruction on databases, Web 2.0 tools, etc. in your classroom or in either of the libraries. Click the link above to book time for such collaboration.
