Classroom Auction Item Preview

Seriously, these pictures do not give these items justice - they are BEAUTIFUL! All of the classrooms have worked very hard on these - be sure to ask your child about the Gala project their class made!

Silent Auction: Primary 1 - Colorful Creatures

Why settle for the mundane when these vibrant pieces can color your world? The children of Primary1 lovingly decorated papers that were then combined to create a mosaic collage depicting a peacock and snail. A ‘pop’ of color against the white background makes these animals come to colorful life!

Live Auction: Primary 1 - Twice As Nice

Who says sleeping under the stars has to happen outside? With this collapsible A Frame tent your child can read, play, nap and create all under the hand painted backdrop created by the Primary1 students. Turn out the lights and watch it glow….in the dark! The landscape provides a soft warm glow as the sun turns into the moon above. When they are finished the tent easily folds flat for storage.

Silent Auction: Primary 2: I Offer You Peace

Peace education is the cornerstone of Montessori and the children of Primary2 used the universal symbol for peace to spread their message of unity. In this colorful collage of peace signs you will see their individuality combined to form a broader picture of the importance of this message in their classroom. To identify your peacemaker, simply flip over this unique project as a chart of the hand models is included!

Silent Auction: Primary 2: Colorful Continents

Did you know that South America is pink or that Africa is green? Well if you doubt this truth then you should ask a Primary student because they will tell you the color of each of the seven continents. Using the beautiful continent maps found in the classroom as a muse, the students of P2 have created a mosaic wall hanging from broken pieces of fiesta ware that match the colors of the continents. With this vibrant masterpiece hanging on your wall you are sure to hear refrains of the continent song from your child. “North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia. Don't forget Australia, don't forget Antarctica. North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia.” Who says art can't inspire the senses?
