Dear Families,
Happy New Year to all those who celebrated the Lunar New Year earlier this month! What a fantastic moment in time in which to reflect and reset. One of the ways in which we can do this is by setting realistic goals for ourselves and creating an action plan for attaining these goals. This is a highly beneficial skill to teach our children. Goal setting strengthens executive functioning skills and increases prosocial attitudes and behaviors around self-confidence, independence, and growth mindset. IFCB: Quarterly Clothing Bank Shopping Event
The Clothing Bank is currently closed due to Covid19 restrictions, however IFCB is holding periodic events for individuals and families to choose winter gear. Our clothing events are open to registered clients in our expanded clothing bank service area: 98027, 98029, 98074, 98075, 98038, 98024, 98025, 98014, 98045, 98050, 98055-59, 98065.

Renton Innovation Zone Partnership will host a free drive-through multi-service event at Campbell Hill Elementary, on Friday, Feb. 26, from 3-5 p.m. Available resources include face masks, baby wipes, diapers, household supplies, food boxes and frozen family meals; housing, medical, health insurance; childcare and preschool consultation and developmental screening; WIC and First Steps; digital equity signups for free laptops and rental assistance referral; King County local service giveaways; ORCA LIFT Card; and free academic and career trade training.
Social distancing guidelines will be strictly enforced as attendees will be asked to remain in their vehicles.
