College Planning Night
On Thursday, October 27, at 6:30 pm, the Park Hill High School Counseling Office will be hosting a College Planning Night in the library/media center atrium. This presentation is geared toward junior parents/guardians, but any and all are welcome to attend. We will be presenting college options, understanding the ACT, the application process, financing your education, and other tips on how to prepare now in order to make the transition to college as smooth as possible. Aaron Cook, our KC regional Mizzou representative will lead us through these important topics and we will have an opportunity for Q&A at the end. We hope you can join us!

Veterans Day
Each year the students and staff at Park Hill High School invite Veterans from our families, community, and region to be our guests in our school for a Veterans Day recognition.
Our school assembly will be held on Friday, November 11th.
Please feel free to invite any family members, neighbors, or friends who are currently serving or who have served in the military service and who might like to attend!
If you plan to attend we would love for you to send via email a photo of you during your military service. Send emails to Lorrie Kopp - koppl@parkhill.k12.mo.us
To RSVP or with any other questions please call Lorrie Kopp at 816-359-6086.
National PTA’s Reflections
National PTA’s Reflections program helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
Each year, over 300,000 students create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. The theme for the 2022-2023 program year is Show Your Voice! Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. There is a Special Artists Division, too!
Winners from Park Hill High School will move on to Missouri PTA’s program. Winners at State continue on to the National level. National Reflections winners are announced in May and will be celebrated at National PTA's Convention TBD in June. National PTA then collects and curates the traveling exhibit for the next year.
If you have any questions, please contact PHHS PTA Reflections Chair Karyn Walden-Forrest at karyn.walden@yahoo.com. Submissions are accepted until Thursday, December 1, 2022.
The awards ceremony for our winners will be held in March in a location TBD.
