Grades are in!
The last time Vulture Peak received a grade, the school earned a B rating. We are pleased to announce that the school has maintained the B. This is a great accomplishment. It reflects positively on the teachers, students, support staff, parents and community.
Vulture Peak will continue to provide quality instruction which will focus on meeting state standards and addressing the social and emotional needs of our students. We have added an ELA Gap class for the remainder of this quarter to help students who need additional help with reading and writing skills. We are also providing interventions within the classrooms this year as we extended our time for the classes. Students also have opportunities to receive additional support during Eagle Hour.
As per the Arizona State Board of Education: Arizona Revised Statutes ยง 15-241 requires the Arizona Department of Education, subject to final adoption by the State Board of Education, to develop an annual achievement profile for every public school in the state based on an A through F scale. The system measures year to year student academic growth, proficiency on English language arts, math and science, the proficiency and academic growth of English language learners, indicators that an elementary student is ready for success in high school and that high school students are ready to succeed in a career or higher education and high school graduation rates.
