I hope everyone has had a chance to get out and enjoy the warmer weather this past week! Sunday began Daylight Savings Time which equals losing an hour of sleep but gaining another hour of daylight!
Thanks to everyone who purchased something through the Joseph Beth online book fair! VLA appreciates your support!
Check out the pictures below of our students' wonderful creations in science class and in Cooking Club! VLA students are so creative!
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be sharing information about end of the year assessments, so please check your email and the newsletters for updates.
Have a wonderful week!
Mrs. Haehlen's 4th grade students made models of animals (using materials around the house) to show animal adaptations. Check out the finished projects!
Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Cook, 1st Grade
Cooking Club has a great group of students who gather weekly to learn about cooking in a kitchen. After learning about the ins and outs of cooking, the group members get to make a recipe together. Parents and students work together to make delicious recipes with Ms. Cook demonstrating and cooking the recipes with them. We all feel like the stars of our own cooking show.
This week in Cooking Club we made Mac n' Cheese. The students had a great time and made some delicious looking food!
