Here's the Scoop!

Ms. Manriquez -PreKindergarten-Cougar Elementary

Look what we have learned!

We have been working very hard in Reading this week using our imagination and re-telling lots of stories from our classroom library!

Everyone has been practicing re-acting and re-telling stories with the class. (III.D.1)

Everyone has enjoyed the prop box in the class and re-enacting their own short stories!

The class has been using their imagination while also coming up with drawn out stories as well as reading picture books and coming up with their own storyline and characters to go along!

Our Hard Work In Action!

Classroom Update

  • We've been busy this week talking about what we are 'Thankful' for this upcoming holiday season.
  • We have also been decorating our room for the fall with lots of turkeys and scarecrows!

Our Field Trip To The Pumpkin Patch

This week we had a field trip to our local pumpkin patch at Dewberry Farm! We have been learning how pumpkins grow and all the kids enjoyed picking out pumpkins to bring home! Also a big THANK YOU to all the parents who came out and volunteered with us!

Parent's Corner

This week we are also talking about our families and where we all come from. If you could find a picture of your family with your child in the house and send this back with your son/daughter we can all discuss where our entire class comes from, around the world!
