Section 4: Goals
Check your IEP's: Baseline data must be in direct correlation to your measurable goal - baseline is the beginning measurement for setting that goal. Is measurable data included? What will you add when you address that IEP?
MEDICAID: The answers to your questions
Fantastic work getting medicaid logged and service reports turned in!
Several questions that need to be answered:
- Which choice do I select if I spoke with SW, Speech, PT, OT? Monitoring and recommending a plan of action
- Which choice do I select if I spoke with a parent regarding IEP or programming? Monitoring and recommending a plan of action
- Do I bill for IEP prep? Yes - Maintenance of case records. Dated before IEP date.
- Do I bill for my IEP? Yes - Bill for your IEP. Choose IEPT meeting in top right corner, and the choice at bottom that says IEP meeting. Must be dated the date the Meeting occurred.
- Bill only for students who are MEDICAID eligible, and who receive DIRECT SERVICES.
- CRITICAL NOTE: Eligibility changes with no notice, on any student. Check your entire caseload using the wizard to make sure your eligible students are the same as the month before.
- How do we use the wizards? Call me! You should be using the Monthly summary wizard to check for missing monthly summaries - it takes less than a minute.
