The Climate/Disease

The weather hot and humid like jungle. They had to face diseases like malaria, dysentery and trench foot

Who went to war and Why?

86.3% Of the men who died in Vietnam were Caucasian (Includes Hispanics); 12.5% (7,241) Were Black; 1.2% Belonged to other races. The average age of people in the war was 22. I fell the reason why so much young men went to Vietnam went not only because they were drafted but because they didn't know what else to do.
1966-1967. Americans begining campaign to expand the war in South Vietnam.

Search and Destroy missions/Vietcong

Search and Destroy missions was when the U.S soldiers would search civilize villages for Vietnamese weapons, then burn them down. The reason why they did this was the civilizes would hide the weapons for the Vietcong fearing they would face the wrath of the government. The soldiers in the war soon began to blame & hate the people they were helping.
