We have been learning how to log onto Spelling City, iMaths and Study Ladder. The children may like to have a try at home. The children have also been introduced to emailing. It would be of great benefit if you could send your child/children an email to their school portal address. If you ask them a question they can send a reply back. Portal addresses are, for example, jenny.smith@education.nsw.gov.au

In the holidays I am going…..
I was very thrilled last Wednesday when one of our children was so proud of her work that she asked me to take a photo of it. Here it is. Well done Persia! The next photo is of a piece of independent writing using Kid Pix. It was a collaboration between Leila and Finn. The children received no assistance from me. Rowan and Zef were also very proud of their joint effort in construction. Thursday's topic talkers were fantastic. Amelie entertained us with photos and stories about herself. Riley gave us a great insight into his family. Sian shared one of the poems she had written. Finn showed a wonderful slideshow and talked about his family. Leila showed us a lovely photo and talked about her family and, even though he left his prepared speech at home, Samuel spoke about his trip to New Zealand. Once again Gymsports was great fun. The children's skills in balancing, forward rolls, bunny hops, swinging on bars and jumping off the trampette to land on 'motor bikes' are developing well.
