William Clarks Life
William Clark was born August 1st, 1770 in Caroline County, Virginia. He was the ninth of ten children. He died September 1st, 1838 in St. Louis Missouri. On the exploration food was a struggle at times also it was hard to get. His wife Judith Hancock died in 1820 and they had five children together so he had to take care of all of them. Then he remarried to Harriet Kennerly Radford. William Clark was most remembered for traveling across the country 7,000 miles so we could expand our country.

Judith Hancock was William Clarks first wife they had five kids together. She died in 1820. They got married in 1808.

Harriet was Clarks second wife and they had two kids together. They got married in 1821.

Clark had seven kids two wifes and nine brothers. All of his brothers are older than him except for his youngest brother.
