Every day is a celebration!
Make a Difference Mondays! Sometimes just having a lot of fun is the best way to make a difference. Today we want to thank the prom co-sponsors, Ms. Jones and Ms. H for guiding SGA to putting on a really fun and the biggest Clark prom yet. Photos will be available as soon as the photographers edit and release them to Ms. Jones.
Take Care Tuesdays! Today’s tip for taking care of ourselves is to meet and communicate with friends. Research has found that meeting with peers and talking about what’s going on with you — including past events you’re still processing — prevents burnout and promotes well–being. Group connections are so important for fostering resilience and releasing chemicals in the brain that support well–being. And the activities don’t have to be just talking. Things like doing art projects together, playing with slime, or gaming all work. And despite the pressure to have huge numbers of “friends” or “followers,” it only takes a few special friends to make a big difference in your life.
Way to Go Wednesdays! Shout out to JT for turning in a found cell phone, which was very promptly claimed by its owner. See something, say something Finders are not keepers. Way to go, JT!
Thankful Thursdays! we are very thankful for our parents and guardians who support us as students as we work towards our future goals. It was wonderful to see so many family members at the awards assembly yesterday!
Fun Fact Fridays! and we are PROUD to say that this fun fact is that every single senior will be earning a diploma next week! Hard work pays off! So, here’s the fun fact about graduation… diplomas were originally made of sheepskin. Sorry, seniors, yours will just be thick paper, but it’s valuable all the same!
