Yearbook Pictures for Underclassmen (9th - 11th graders)
Underclassmen Pictures will be held Monday, December 14 through Thursday, December 17 during Empower Class. Empower teachers will let you know when your pictures will be taken.
LOOLA Underclassmen photos will be taken on Friday, December 18 by appointment only. You should have received a separate email yesterday with a link to schedule an appointment.
There will not be a make-up date scheduled.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be sold on Thursday, December 10 (for Cat's Paw Yearbook) for $7 per dozen. Doughnuts will be sold in the commons area before school and in C103 during 1st Block, 2nd Block and Empower or until sold out. Doughnuts will not be sold individually - only by the dozen.
Day of Joy 2020
The Joy Day Program is an association funded by the Midlands Special Needs Foundation and holds a place for people with special needs after their maximum school age. All proceeds from the sale of these t-shirts will be going to this organization. T-shirts are $10 - cash or check, made out to LHS. Click here to place your order.
Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Tickets
You will purchase tickets by going to lexingtonwildcats.com and clicking on “Tickets” at the top right of the page (it will be in the white border in blue font). Once you click on tickets it will take you to the next page where you will see a link that says “Buy tickets”. Click on the buy tickets link and it will take you through the process of purchasing your tickets. You will have to create an account to purchase the tickets. You will use this account log-in to purchase tickets for all our home games and any away games that use hometown ticketing. You will be able to purchase 1 general admission ticket.
Congratulations - All-State Chorus
The SC Music Educators Association (SCMEA) has announced that 11 LHS choral students received All-State Chorus honors this year! Due to COVID-19, students auditioned virtually be recording their voice part for a predetermined piece of choral music by J.S. Bach. Congratulations to these talented Wildcats!

Toiletry Supply Drive
The Oliver Gospel Mission serves families throughout the midlands by providing shelter and needed supplies to families. We are doing a competition through your Empower class. The class with the most collected items from the list on the flyer will receive a free Chick-Fil-A lunch for each person in the class! All you have to do is bring your items to your Empower class! Please help us collect these needed items for families in the midlands!

Virtual Summer 2021 SCDNR Cultural Heritage Trust Internship
Applications for the virtual Summer 2021 SCDNR Cultural Heritage Trust internship program are now available here. Applications close at 5 p.m. EST on Monday, May 3, 2021. Internship categories include high school (rising juniors and seniors), undergraduate, graduate (MA/MS and PhD) and postdoctoral. The primary goal of the internship program is for interns to gain a greater understanding of the diverse field of archaeology. Topics covered within the internship will include but are not limited to terrestrial and maritime archaeology, forensic anthropology, visual anthropology, archaeology public outreach and interpretation, museum studies, geographic information system (GIS), and disaster preparedness and recovery. Interested in Boys Soccer - Pre-Season Conditioning/Tryouts
Any high school boy that is interested in pre-season conditioning for soccer, you must have a physical dated after April 1, 2020 and complete forms on PlanetHS. Pre-season Conditioning will be held at the boys practice field from 4 - 5:15 p.m. on the following days:
January 5 - 7, January 12 - 14, January 19 - 21, and January 25 - 27
Varsity Tryouts will be held February 1- 3
JV Tryouts will be held February 3 - 5

LHS FIT Program
The Lexington High School FIT Program (Food Improving Thinking) consists of providing nutritious food during the weekends and holidays when students who need meals may be left without an adequate supply of nutritious food.
The program provides individually packed food items that students can prepare by themselves. Seasonal fruit may be included. Bags of food will be delivered in a discreet manner once a week, for now on Tuesdays and Thursdays, then on Fridays throughout the normal school year. Anonymity will be assured. Virtual Calming Room - Check-it Out!
The Virtual Calming Room is a place for students, families and staff to find strategies for managing emotions and feelings in positive ways while building resilience. Sometimes, life gets challenging and overwhelming. We can feel stressed with life’s events, both big and small. The Virtual Calming Room provides resources and tools to help you find new ways to manage life, explore new problem solving opportunities and develop coping skills. Coolidge Scholarship
Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation
Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2022 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply. Coolidge Scholars are selected primarily on academic excellence. They must also be interested in public policy. The winner of the Coolidge Scholarship will receive a full-ride scholarship to any accredited U.S. college or university. More information, including the application, is available
