Multiplication Masters

Congratulation to Thayer Olinger and Skylar Sterling for mastering their multiplication facts. Not only do they earn a T-Shirt and Rootbeer Float, they have set themselves up for future math success in middle and high school. Students still have plenty of time to master this critical skill. Practicing with flash cards at home is one of the best ways to become proficient.

New Principal Hiring Process

Dr. Goyette will be retiring at the end of the school year. If you would like to be involved in the in the Principal Hiring Process, Associate Superintendent Andrea Everett will be hosting an informational meeting on January 30 at 4:15pm. More information will be forth coming on whether the meeting will be in person of via zoom.

Choir with Mr. Artz

The Cougar Choir is open to students in grades 3-5 who want to sing with other kids. Practices will start on Wednesday, February 1st from 8:00-9:00 am. Practices are in the music portable and will happen every Wednesday through May. Email Mr. Artz with any questions you might have at kristopher.artz@matsuk12.us.

Square 1 Art Project: The Cottonwood Creek PTO will be organizing a spring Square 1 Art Project. Students will be creating art projects in their classrooms over the next three weeks. Parents will be able to order items in March. We hope these may make great Mother's Day Gifts. PTO Fundraiser Silent Auction: On Friday, February 24, PTO will be hosting a silent auction in the gym. Please stop by before or after your child's parent-teacher conference to support Cottonwood Creek.
