Distance Learning and Hybrid Meal Pickup
Distance learning and hybrid students that are not on campus have the option to pre-order meals. Parents can order meals for their students through the Parent Portal. Meal order services are available until 8 am the day of pickup.
To order,
- Open the Parent Portal and click on the menu.
- Then click on the School Store.
- Your student school will show on this page. Click on shop.
- Once in the store find the meal you want to order and click on view.
- Once in the lunch tab for the correct day. click on Select Options, Then click on Hot Lunch or Cold Lunch
- Leave the quantity as 1 and then select the student's name that is receiving the meal.
- Only enter "Special Diet" in the comment section if you have a pre-approved special diet with the food service department.
- Then click on add to the cart.
- Continue to add breakfast or additional students. Each student needs their own order in the system.
- Once all of the meals are added Click on the picture of the shopping cart.
- Click on Submit and your meals are ordered.
When picking up your meals, staff will approach your car to get your name and find out how many meals. Staff will return inside to get your order and charge your lunch account. Meals will be charged to the students account based off of your meal status Free, Reduced or Paid meals. Parents can pickup meals for their students.
Free and Reduced Meal Applications
Meals are available at a free or reduced price to students whose families meet the income guidelines or qualify for one of the following:
· Your household currently receives benefits through one of these programs:
- Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP)
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservation
· You have foster children
· Your family is homeless
If you feel your family might qualify for this benefit please go to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal and click on menu, then More, then Meal Benefits. Click here for detailed instructions on how to complete an application online.
Paper applications are also available by contacting the Food Service Department office, your school office or on the district web page. Click here for a paper application to print and send in.
All information is confidential, and students who receive benefits are not identified in any way. You may apply at any time during the school year.
