What is a cladogram?
A cladogram is a diagram used in cladistics which shows relations among organisms. It is based off the study of evolutinary relationships.
An example of a cladogram
This shows how each organism shares a certain trait; such as, the hagfish and all of the other organisms share the common trait of having a jaw.

Cladograms demonstrate synapomorphy, which shows the character traits that are shared among individual organisms by a recent commom ancestor.
