Hello, Everyone!

Many students are now in the swing of things regarding GaVS due dates and policies. Those of you who are 12 and 14-Week students, make sure that you submit your assignments on time - the GaVS late policy is very strict!

Be sure to follow the proper Course Schedule, so you are not waiting until the last minute to submit your assignments.

Remember that if this is your first time taking classes online, it does take a bit of time to get used to the system. So, keep working hard, and you will see those grades move-up before you know it!

Check out the information, below, in order to remain "in-the-loop" about our course:

Late Work Policy and Assignment Due Dates:

All assignments are due every other THURSDAY by midnight - see orange "Assignment Due Date" boxes in your Course Syllabus and Schedule. Check course schedules for specific due dates. Work will be accepted up to 3 school days late at a rate of 10% off per day. Anything submitted Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is 10% off. Late work submitted Monday is 20% off, and work submitted Tuesday is 30% off. After 3 school days, the assignment will no longer be accepted for credit and will remain a zero.

Extra Learning Opportunities

All Extra Learning Opportunities (ELOs) for extra points will be announced via News Items, or in the Adobe Help Sessions at some point. Students frequently check our News Items daily, as well as listen to our Adobe Help Session recordings, so they will have knowledge of any ELOs in the course - and so they will also view additional opportunities for help with the course.

Remember to include your MLA heading on all essays - including our upcoming Crucible Research Paper! Points for not doing this, and for not saving your files correctly, will be deducted. We must practice this heading! Check out the video if you are struggling with MLA:
