2nd Grade News
with Mrs. Trujillo
Week of May 29-May 31
A note from Mrs. Trujillo:
WOW! I cannot believe our time together is coming to an end this week. I have loved every moment of this year, and being with your child. Every single child has touched my heart this year, and will forever hold a special place in my life. I will always consider them to be "one of mine" and cannot wait to see them grow up, and make an imprint on this wonderful world we live in. Thank you all for such an amazing year, and all of your wonderful support this year. My door is always open to you all and your children! You are a couple of days away from having a third grader!
Thursday is our last day of school. We will start the day with a parade in the hallway to say farewell to our 5th grade class. From there we will have our final Good Morning Monroe. After that, we will come back to class and get ready for our Star Skate field trip. We will start walking to Star Skate at about 9:30am, and will stay there until about 12pm. We will then walk back, and have a pizza lunch when we return. After lunch, we will come back to the classroom and watch a slideshow that I put together from this year. It is a bit lengthy, almost 20 minutes long, but I just couldn't make it shorter because I loved every photo in it. Parents are more than welcome to stop by and watch it with us as well. We will end the day with popsicles.
