los tiempos perfectos... present, plu and future...
- The "perfect" tenses are COMPOUND tenses (compound tense simply means a verb tense built using 2 verbs, one called a helping or auxiliary verb, and another ~ the participle). There are 3 varieties (for our purposes)
- The "helping" / auxiliary verb is the verb "haber" (to have); the participle are those forms of the verb that you practiced above; the -ado/-ido format or its irregulars.
- PRESENT perfect: to have done something.
- PLUPERFECT: to had done something, this COMMONLY replaces the preterite in Iberian (Spain) Spanish ..
- FUTURE perfect: a projection into future time claiming that you will have already completed a task or achieved a goal...
