Conservation Around Valley
How to get involved with environmental conservation
Recycling
Valley has many great opportunities to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Aside from the recycling bins located in every classroom around the school, Valley staff offers many different ways to reduce the amount of paper based materials in the classroom. Whether it be turning assignments in on used paper or converting the curriculum to a more online approach.
Classes to get Involved
There are two distinct classes located at Valley High School that inform students of environmental issues and encourage taking action. These classes are Advanced Placement Environmental Science and Plant Science, both taught by Mr. Brant Reif.
Environmental Instructors
Franklin Eco Club
Franklin High School operates an eco club that is dedicated to environmental service and education. Valley could implement a similar club. Not only would it benefit the school, but it would also benefit the entire world through education and conservation.
