Jazz mission:
Jazz mission is for Families to support and encourage their children to allow them to grow up free of gender roles. Jazz has launched Trans Kids Purple Rainbow Foundation to help other kids like herself find the support they need. An advocate of transgender rights, Jazz's campaigning work has led her to meet celebrities like Laverne Cox, and Jennifer Lawrence. Jazz has been named one of Time magazine's "25 Most Influential Teens of 2014.
Early life
Jazz Jennings was born October 6, 2000 and is currently 14 years old . Jazz's family consist of her dad Greg and her mom Jeanette she also has a sister named Ari, who is four years older, and two brothers, Sander and Griffen who are twins, and who are two years older. Jennings loves mermaids, and makes silicone mermaid tails and sells them to raise money to support transgender youth.

What is a hero?
A person who is admired and who is always trying to help other in one way or another.
Jazz is a hero because, she sets an example to others that being you is Ok and insurgences others to be true to themselves. At the age of six Jazz and her family started to inform people what is like to have transgender child and how one should support their child about their sexuality.
