Gamify Your Classroom

Learning can be Fun

Why Tech Tips

The purpose of Tech Tips is to present you with technology PD that you can partake in at your own convenience. If you would like to use these tools and need help, or would like to have someone sit with you and walk you / talk you through using them, I will be more than glad to accommodate your needs.

Why Games in the Classroom???

Using games for review and/or formative assessment is a great way to make learning fun and engaging. Instead of calling on a few students during review, every student is responsible for reviewing, practicing, and learning important information.

  • Games keep student's attention focused on review.
  • Games allow for much easier cumulative review so students don't forget information you want them to know.
  • Create challenges for high score or speed to complete to increase competition for excellence.
  • Great for bellringers, before or after a lesson presentation, and/or at the end of class.
