Week in review - Classroom Pictures
Art fun with Mrs. Savoie
Dr. Cairo is hard at work in the Vet's Office.
Fine Motor Fun!
The theme this week is Community Helpers.
This week we will talk about the jobs that make up our community.
ART: Working with primary colors red and yellow to create artwork that looks like FIRE!
MATH: Increasing our number sense by matching numbers and the quantities that represent them while building construction towers.
ELA: Working on letter of the week, L! Matching letters - students pick a letter card and brush the tooth that matches with our dental alphabet game.
FINE MOTOR: Students will work on fine motor in the Post Office Center. They can write note cards, glue stamps and color post office pictures.
SENSORY TABLES: Sand with construction equipment and water with red, yellow and orange colored caps and spray bottles to spray out the fire! (Send in red, yellow and orange caps if you have any)
ROOM SEARCH: Students with have the opportunity to search the room for objects associated with fire safety.
BLOCK AREA: Large crane, fire trucks and various transportation vehicles community helpers use.
DRAMATIC PLAY: Veterinarians Office. Students will role play a visit to the Vet.
