Guidance
This week in Guidance the students enjoyed learning about Respect and Responsibility in Grades 2 and 3. We learned more about Study Skills in Grades 4 and 5. We also read Oh the Places You Will Go!, and learned about Respect and Manners in K and 1. The students have been such a joy to teach this year, and I hope they have learned a lot about Social Emotional Learning. I am looking forward to spending these last days with our students. Thank you, SALT Team, as you complete your last rotation for the year! I hope you have an enjoyable weekend with your family!
Your Proud Prestwick Counselor,

Makerspace
Next week will be our final Makerspace week. The students will get to use the makers materials to build and create something unique. I have had a great time with your students this year and I hope you all have a safe and happy summer!

Art
We are winding down the school year with our final art contest. We had a strong tie, congratulations to our winners Zoe Moreno, Lucas Brito, and Charlee Song. We will use all three artists to create our posters.
In class, all students will focus on learning how to create digital art in Sumopaint and Canva.
Music
This week in music we’re having fun and finishing the year strong and applying things we’ve learned throughout the year. Kindergarten and 1st grade are staying active with singing and dancing to different music. 2nd and 3rd grade are learning movements to different music. 4th and 5th grade are making music with basketballs and learning a basketball routine.
